Executive Staff

Christine Eibs Singer, E+Co's Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer, is responsible for the vision and strategy behind E+Co's mission to create energy enterprises that alleviate poverty and protect the planet.  She has over 20 years of experience in successful implementation of public-private partnership and regularly shares her knowledge and best practices with other thought leaders in this sector.  Prior to co-establishing E+Co, Christine spent more than 10 years at the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, concentrating on the development of public-private partnerships and is a graduate of Douglass College and the Eagleton Institute of Politics, Rutgers University.  In 2007, she received the Woman of Inspiration Award from Fairleigh Dickinson University.  A seasoned public speaker, Christine has presented at the 2008 Skoll World Forum, Washington International Renewable Energy Conference, the inaugural Clinton Global Initiative University, and the PRI Makers Conference.  She serves on the steering committee and is a founding member of the Aspen Institute's "Aspen Network for Development Entrepreneurs" (ANDE).

Gina Rodolico, E+Co's Chief Operating Officer, oversees the organization operations and works with three Regional Managers and 30 staff members globally to reach E+Co's business plan goals.  As the architect of the Monitoring & Evaluation Program, Gina pioneered the tracking and analysis across a menu of 36 Triple Bottom Line Indicators that allow E+Co to document the financial, social and environmental impacts of its energy investee companies.  Gina holds an MS and an MA from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh and a Certificate of Finance from New York University.

Jacqueline D. Robinson, E+Co's Chief Financial Officer, directs the financial management of E+Co's domestic and foreign operations.  Jacqueline spent nearly 20 years in public accounting and the financial management of not-for-profit organizations, privately owned companies and publicly held corporations prior to joining E+Co's team.  She has a BS in Accounting, magna cum laude, from Hampton Institute and CPA designation from the State of Virginia.

Paul van Aalst, Director of E+Co Europe, focuses on investor relations and developing investment products to finance E+Co's activities. He leads the development of investment instruments and partnerships in Europe, Asia, Africa and Latin America.  Over the last 15 years Paul has been involved in developing investment vehicles and in advisory work in the field of sustainable investing with international corporations, public organizations and financial institutions.  He has been active in the field of social and environmental investing since1980 and holds a degree in Business Economics.

REGIONAL SENIOR STAFF

Ricardo de Matheu, General Manager of E+Co Capital, is responsible for overseeing the activites of E+Co's for-profit subsidiary based in Costa Rica.  Before joining E+Co, he was the General Manager of Corporación Financiera Ambiental, a Central American investment fund targeting environmental and sustainable development interests. He also served as investment advisor for the Aureos Capital-managed SME fund, EMERGE. Ricardo has successfully served in CEO and CFO positions in agro-industrial and export enterprises in El Salvador and Guatemala, and as holding company manager of a diversified group of businesses with interests in financial services, industry and real estate.  He has held numerous Board positions, including BANEX in Nicaragua and also served as a faculty member of INCAE, in Costa Rica, where he earned his MBA degree.   He has an undergraduate degree in Mechanical and Management Engineering from the Institute of Technology in Monterrey, Mexico.

Wilhelm Baumgartner, Regional Manager for E+Co Latin America, oversees the investment and portfolio management of E+Co's Latin American and Caribbean operations.  Wilhelm's responsibilities include developing, planning and implementing partnerships for the extension of clean energy access in Latin America and the Caribbean.  He previously served as Senior Investment Officer for E+Co and brings over 5 years of experience to his position.  Wilhelm holds a Bachelor´s degree in Business Administration from Universidad de Costa Rica and an MBA from the Instituto Centroamericano de Administracion de Empresas.

Peter J. Malika, Director for E+Co East Africa, oversees the investment and portfolio development of E+Co’s East Africa operations, including investment selection and structuring, asset management, financial and investor reporting and implementation and supervision of liquidation strategies.  Peter joins E+Co from Choice Capital Management, a start up private equity and joint venture intermediary business based in East Africa, after working for eight years as Director, Advisory Services for KPMG LLP in Minneapolis.  Before that, he worked with Piper Jaffray Companies in Minneapolis and the Price Waterhouse correspondent firm in Tanzania.  Peter holds an MBA from the University of Phoenix School of Business, a BS in Accounting from Metropolitan State University in Minneapolis and a Diploma in Business Administration from the College of Business Education in Tanzania.  He has a National Booking Certificate (NABOCE) from the Tanzania National Association of Accountants and Auditors.

Kofi Nketsia-Tabiri, Regional Manager of E+Co Africa, oversees the investment and portofolio management of E+Co's Africa operations.  Kofi's responsibilities include developing, planning and implementing partnerships for the extension of clean energy access in Africa.  He is an inaugural member of the Catto Fellowship Program of the Aspen Institute and holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons.) in Mechanical Engineering from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and a Master of Science in Corporate and International Finance from the University of Durham Business School.

The Asia Regional Manager (position currently open) oversees the investment and portfolio management of E+Co's Asia operations.  Responsibilities include developing, planning and implementing partnerships for the extension of clean energy access in Southeast Asia
and China.
